Role of the International Arbitration Court for Transport
Art. 1 - The International Arbitration Court for Transport at the Romanian Association of International Road Transport provides an alternative form of dispute resolution mainly on transport issues and transport related activities (storage and haulage of goods, postal and courier services, customs brokerage and freight forwarding).
Objective of the International Arbitration Court for Transport
Art. 2 - The objective of the International Arbitration Court for Transport at the Romanian Association of International Road Transport is to provide prompt and impartial settlement of disputes arising from the legal relationships in transport and related activities, as well as other disputes submitted to the jurisdiction of the International Arbitration Court for Transport.
Functions of the International Arbitration Court for Transport
Art. 3 - The functions of the International Arbitration Court for Transport at the Romanian Association of International Road Transport are:
a) alternative form of dispute resolution;
b) institutionalized arbitration in the areas of transport and related activities;
c) settlement of disputes arising from legal relationships in transport and related activities.
