International Arbitration Court for Transport has organisational and functional autonomy towards the organisation it was created by. Arbitration Court for Transport at the Romanian Association of International Road Transport doesn`t depend on the organisation it was created by in regulating and carrying out of jurisdictional activities.

Non-for-profit principle of arbitration jurisdiction

Activities of the International Arbitration Court for Transport have nonbusiness and non-for-profit purpose.

Confidentiality principle

The activities of the International Arbitration Court for Transport are based on the principle of confidentiality of arbitration.

Principle of the unrestricted access to the arbitration

Initiation of the arbitration doesn`t require preliminary mediation or conciliation procedures.

Principle of multilinguality

The International Arbitration Court for Transport operates in the area of transport and related activities using Romanian or any other international language.

Basic principles of the civil law

Activities of the International Arbitration Court for Transport are based on the general principles of civil law in accordance with the Civil Procedure Code of Romania.
