Arbitration How can I benefit from arbitration
How can you benefit from the arbitration procedure through the International Arbitration Court for Transport?
Simple, by including the following general arbitration clause into the contract or any other document to be signed with your partners:
«Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the present contract, including any questions regarding its conclusion, execution or termination, shall be settled by the International Arbitration Court for Transport at the Romanian Association of International Road Transport in accordance with the Arbitration Code on Transport and Related Activities».
When concluding a paid road transport services agreement, we recommend the following specific arbitration clause to be included into the contract:
«Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the present contract, including any questions regarding its conclusion, execution or termination, shall be settled by the International Arbitration Court for Transport at the Romanian Association of International Road Transport in accordance with the Arbitration Code on Transport and Related Activities. The International Arbitration Court for Transport applies provisions of the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) signed in Geneva on 19 May 1956».
